Lauhala is a natural fiber known to last for generations with the right care.
•Lauhala is NOT waterproof! If you get it wet, make sure to dry it out nicely before next use! The fibers may over soften with too much exposure to water.
•Clean Lauhala piece with an oil of your choice! (Ex: coconut oil, kukui nut oil, baby oil, mineral oil, etc.) put a small amount of oil on to a soft cloth and wipe down gently.
•Remember that Lauhala is a natural fiber that doesn’t like to be tugged at.
